Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead East Texas asphalt production facilities in Jasper, TX. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, safety culture, and team development while aligning with company goals and customer needs.

You will drive efficiency, quality, and profitability, partnering with leadership to implement capital projects and improve uptime, while ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in asphalt operations, aggregates, construction materials, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, operations, and production facilities.
• Strong understanding of asphalt production processes, plant maintenance, and equipment performance.
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational expenses.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and people‑development skills.
• Ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and make sound business decisions.
• Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Texas Materials is seeking a high-impact Area Operations Manager to lead our asphalt plant operations across the East Texas markets. This is a key leadership position responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of multiple asphalt production facilities while developing the people, processes, and culture that drive long-term success.
