Job summary

Walmart seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to manage regulatory inspections, audit reports, and environmental risk across facilities in Laurens, SC. You will support process design with environmental considerations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.

Ideal candidates have a degree in safety/environmental fields and experience in EHS or asset protection in a retail or supply-chain setting, with strong regulatory and safety auditing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety Management or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protection within Supply Chain or Retail.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment for evaluating air, water and waste pollution.
• Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports for management review.
• Assists in integrating environmental considerations into process design.
• Interprets and evaluates compliance status reports and risk management practices.
• Implements environmental policies and practices and ensures compliance with environmental legislation.
