Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Portland, ME seeks a Training Lead to oversee medication administration training for the Assisted Living Department and conduct proxy caregiver training on hire and annually.

You will perform quarterly competency observations, complete skill checklists, and respond to emergencies while communicating with Health and Wellness Directors.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing field required.
• 3+ years nursing or direct resident care experience in a healthcare facility.
• Active nursing license and valid Driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel for business.
• Strong management experience and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• This position will be based out of Maine.
• You have at least an Bachelor’s Degree in a nursing field.
• 3+ years of nursing or direct resident care experience in a healthcare facility.
• You have management experience.
• You currently have an active nursing license.
• You currently have a valid Driver’s license.
• You are comfortable and content with consistently travelling for business purposes.
• You professionally communicate and listen to residents, guests, and coworkers.
• You are able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents.
• You have great management skills and a willingness and desire to work harmoniously with all staff members.
• You express compassion and patience through your work, even when your job is stressful at times.
