Job summary

Joni and Friends in Matthews, NC seeks an Area Ministry Leader to guide strategy, fundraising, and partnerships across the region. You will oversee the annual ministry plan, budget, and donor engagement while developing staff and volunteers to advance gospel-centered ministry.

You will build collaborations with churches and disability-focused partners, lead fundraising campaigns, and ensure sound stewardship consistent with the organization’s values. This role is hybrid with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in nonprofit leadership
• Proven success in fund development and managing budgets > $400,000
• Strong strategic planning, change management, and data-driven execution
• Experience recruiting and leading staff and volunteers
• Passion for disability ministry and accessibility
• Excellent communication and public relations skills; capable with donors and church leaders
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM databases
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver's license and passport

Responsibilities
