Job summary

Brighton Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to enhance referral relationships and grow market presence across the service area. This role requires self-starting initiative, collaboration with physicians, hospitals, and community partners, and a focus on expanding patient access to compassionate hospice care.

Ideal candidates bring extensive healthcare sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build lasting relationships

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice.
• Proven ability to market aggressively while maintaining positive industry relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive results.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
• Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization.
• Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing.
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of "Suncrest Hospice markets".
