Job summary

Circet USA is hiring an Area Manager for Wireless Engineering Services in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on leading wireless engineering programs, managing client relationships with Tier-1 carriers, and driving profitability and growth across operations in Northern California.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in telecom or wireless engineering, 5+ years of leadership, and a track record with major carriers. Travel to client offices in NorCal is expected as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field required or combined education and experience.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications or wireless engineering services.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical and operational teams.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Tier-1 wireless carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Dish Wireless, or equivalent operators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of wireless engineering programs including RF Design, Network Performance, Optimization, Small Cells, DAS, Private Networks, FWA, Site Development, Construction Support, and Deployment Services.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously with adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
  • Establish project governance, risk management, resource planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Drive operational efficiency through KPI tracking, performance reviews, and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accountability for project financials, revenue forecasting, profitability, and resource utilization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Foster employee engagement and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage workforce planning and resource allocation to meet customer and business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic wireless carrier customers.
  • Develop strong executive and operational relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
  • Act as a trusted partner by understanding customer priorities, network challenges, and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Support sales teams in account expansion strategies and pipeline development.
  • Participate in customer presentations, proposal development, RFP responses, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Promote end-to-end wireless engineering solutions across RF, Site Acquisition, Construction, Integration, Optimization, Private Networks, and Emerging Technologies.
  • Develop strategic partnerships that expand market presence and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to drive annual growth objectives.
  • Own regional operational performance and financial targets.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and revenue projections.
  • Monitor project margins, utilization rates, and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with carrier standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout all operations.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This leadership role is responsible for managing project delivery, customer relationships, financial performance, team development, and business growth initiatives for telecommunications engineering services.

The position is strictly for candidates located in SFO bay area and also flexible to travel to various client offices in Norcal as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wireless telecommunications, proven project and people management expertise, and established relationships within Tier-1 telecom carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Dish Wireless and other network operators. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitable business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Project & Program Management
  • Lead the successful delivery of wireless engineering programs including RF Design, Network Performance, Optimization, Small Cells, DAS, Private Networks, FWA, Site Development, Construction Support, and Deployment Services.

  • Knowledge of emerging wireless technologies and industry trends.
