Stake Center Locating, Inc. in Illinois seeks an Area Manager, Locate to oversee workload distribution, support field teams, and coordinate with corporate. You will guide technicians, manage equipment, and ensure safety and quality across projects.

The role requires leadership in the locating industry, strong communication, a clean background, valid driver license, and willingness to travel as needed. You will mentor supervisors and participate in damage investigations and reporting.

Formación

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean background check for access to restricted areas.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass random drug screens and remain drug free.
• Ability to locate and perform PDR/damage investigations.
• Ability to interact with the public, customers, and contractors.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

The Area Manager, Locate will be responsible for performing the following duties:

• Oversight of work load distribution.
• Customer relations.
• Interaction with Corporate.
• IT and purchasing along with homeowners and the general public.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check for access to restricted and/or controlled areas.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass random drug screens and to remain drug free.
• Ability to locate.
• Ability to effectively perform a PDR or damage investigation.
• Ability to interact with all involved, the public, customers, contractors, utility representatives and all those under their direction.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced in effective leadership in the locating industry.
• Excellent communications skills oral and written.
• Comprehensive understanding of underground utility construction and placement required.
• Successfully complete company provided Locate Technician training program and pass all required testing.
• Requires long hours when necessary. May require weekend and holiday work when necessary.
• Some travel maybe required including overnight stays and out of town assignments and or training.
• Must have above average computer skills.
