Right At School is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs around St. Louis, MO. You will be directly responsible for operations, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability at each site.

You will liaise with program managers, educators, parents, school administrators, licensing agencies, and district representatives while driving program excellence and growth across locations.

Qualifications

• Licensing: 120 college credits with 24 in child-related courses OR 4 years experience with 24 child-related credits
• Certification: DESE Center Director/Group Child Care Home Provider Certification (100+ capacity)

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of curriculum and ensure high-quality program delivery
• Maintain direct profit & loss responsibility for assigned programs
• Market Right At School programs at school and community events
• Ensure sites meet state licensing requirements

Position Summary

As an Area Manager, you will manage multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs, located in and around St. Louis, Missouri. You will be directly accountable for the operations, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability of each site. You will be Right At School's liaison with our program managers, educators, coaches, parents, parent organizations and school administration, as well as licensing agencies and representatives.

A Day in the Life of This Role

• Oversees the implementation of Right At School's curriculum and ensures high-quality program delivery and continuous improvement in all aspects of program operations
• Maintains direct profit & loss responsibility for assigned programs
• Markets Right At School programs - seeking out opportunities to promote the program at relevant school and community events. Responsible for the internal growth opportunities of all locations in their area
• Ensures Right At School sites/programs meet state-specific licensing requirements
• Implements effective standardized operating procedures to help drive program quality
• Develops positive, collaborative relationships with school administration, parent-teacher organizations, outside vendor staff, and Right At School staff, including Central Office support staff
• Manages key HR functions, including scheduling, hiring and disciplining employees, supporting and promoting employee development and training through coaching and mentoring, and communicating with staff on classroom issues and standard operating procedures

Licensing Requirements

• One hundred twenty (120) college semester credits with twenty-four (24) of the credits in child related courses OR
• Four (4) years experience with twenty-four (24) college semester credits in child-related courses
• "Center Director/Group Child Care Home Provider Certification" from Missouri's Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) with a capacity of at least 100 kids

Position Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as a multi-unit manager (5 or more site locations)
• Direct P & L experience
• Knowledge of child care licensing regulations preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and foster teamwork
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage deadlines
• Must possess excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to pass background checks, including Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
• First Aid and CPR-in-person
• Cleared tuberculosis test
• Ability to drive to schools and districts within assigned footprint

Compensation: $68,000-$75,000 Based on prior experience, education, and credentials
