Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager for the Auburn, IN facility to coordinate maintenance activities across equipment and building systems. You will lead staff, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality in operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification in an Industrial related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field.
• 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance related environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring/promotions.
• 2 year Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months leading a work or project team (e.g. risk control).
• 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment with maintenance background.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing to implement business goals and schedule staffing.
• Monitor productivity and maintain quality and safety standards through training and policy adherence.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns and recommend corrective actions.

• Oversee maintenance department operations and ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT and related regs.
