Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day logistics operations management, overseeing 3PL vendors for warehouses and data centers; ensure SLAs are met.
  • Monitor KPIs and vendor scorecards; develop business cases to drive logistics changes.
  • Own quarterly/annual budgeting, invoice control, and capital improvement projects at locations.
  • Collaborate with vendors, carriers and cross-functional teams to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.
  • Engage with Google stakeholders to align priorities and scale the business efficiently.
  • Drive continuous opportunities to improve forward and reverse material flows for data centers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $164000 - $239000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Own the day-to-day logistics operations management, manage third-party logistics (3PL) vendors operating warehouses and data centers in assigned locations, and ensure that they perform to the aligned Service Level Agreements (SLAs) consistently and effectively, ensuring business continuity.
  • Manage and monitor metrics for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards, and the development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements. Own quarterly/annual budgeting, invoice control, and capital improvement projects within your locations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, carriers, cross-functional teams) to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.
  • Engage with Google stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and joint opportunities to scale the business efficiently, delivering on joint performance goals.

Drive continuous opportunity initiatives to address obstacles for both forward and reverse material flows into and out of data centers/warehouses.
