Job summary

Dauch Corporation in North Vernon, IN is seeking an Area Manager to lead Forge & Machine Line Operations, overseeing safe, efficient, and profitable manufacturing for Tier 1 automotive customers.

You will direct daily operations, drive SQDCP objectives, develop staffing plans, lead cross-functional improvement teams, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading Forge and Machining operations preferred.
• Experience with powder metal manufacturing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for Forge and Machine Line departments.
• Achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) goals.
• Develop staffing plans and labor utilization.
• Lead cross-functional improvements in Quality, Equipment Reliability, and Engineering.
• Coach and develop supervisors and production teams.
