Options Residential, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager to oversee 4–5 sites in Minnesota. You will train and supervise Program Supervisors and DSP staff, ensuring high-quality services and compliance with 245D regulations.

You will review CSSPs and related forms to support person-centered outcomes. Requirements include strong prioritization, independent decision making, and robust computer skills. Applicants must have a qualifying human services degree and supervisory experience in disability

Options Residential offers Community Residential Services to both adults and adolescents who are diagnosed with a mental illness, brain injury or who are chemically dependent. This means we help individuals supported to meet personal recovery goals and successfully transition into a more independent setting.

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing 4-5 sites. They would be responsible for training and supervising Program Supervisors as direct reports and direct support professionals as indirect reports. The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring that the programs under them maintain a high quality of services by supporting and evaluating service delivery for individuals receiving services. The Area Manager will support quality service delivery by analyzing each individual's Coordinated Service and Support Plan (CSSP), CSSP addendum, and other programmatic forms for the individual receiving services in accordance with federal and state regulations and the organization's policies and procedures.

In this position, the Designated Manager will oversee 4 group homes; each with 4 clients, a site supervisor, and 5-10 DSP staff.

Requirements for this position:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of 245D licensing requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Willingness and ability to maintain good employee relations and morale.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings and with a variety of personal care needs without direct supervision.
• Ability to effectively use a computer and software, calculator, household appliances, smoke alarms, etc. with training.
• Ability to accept and incorporate new methods into existing practices and implement therapeutic interventions as required.
• Ability to master the use of all physical intervention and assistance techniques, necessary to meet the needs of assigned individual with disabilities.

Education Requirements: Must meet MN 245D Designated Coordinator or Designated Manager requirements

1. a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
2. an associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
3. a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
4. a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of Program Supervisor I; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.

Salary Salary Range:

$53,000-$55,000 annually, DOQ

Benefits:

Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment.

Schedule:

Full time, flexible based on site needs

A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required of every employee as you will be required to drive either a company vehicle or your own vehicle to perform certain job responsibilities.

Options Residential, Inc will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
