Job summary

Clearwater Solutions, LLC. is seeking an Area Manager to oversee overall operation and growth of assigned project locations in Alabama.

This role directs growth, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains key client relations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public works with supervisory experience, a valid CDL, and wastewater certification; strong budgeting and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Alabama Grade 3 Wastewater Certification required; other state certs preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ public works experience; supervisory experience essential.
• Valid CDL and strong budgeting, scheduling, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand contracts for compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and train project staff; schedule work and identify project needs.
• Maintain client relations and attend meetings to review financials and goals.
• Prepare performance reports for upper administration and council as required.
• Communicate with city officials, contractors, and public agencies daily.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and safety practices.

In an 8-hour shift must be able to transport self, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height including items which may be bulky or awkward, climb into and out of vehicles having high ground clearance; carry a 50-pound tool box; use arms and back to tighten and loosen nuts and bolts; work in confined places; wear and use appropriate safety equipment.Work EnvironmentThe work area can involve a working environment indoors as well as outdoors, which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required. Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens and various chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
