Job summary

Amazon is seeking an entry-level Area Manager to lead a team in one of its fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. This full-time, on-site role focuses on motivating, mentoring, and developing hourly Associates while ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards are met.

• Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable).

This is not a corporate, remote, or office-based position. This is a full-time, entry level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. Amazon is seeking customer focused individuals to lead a team of hourly employees across our Operations network! Our warehouses are fast-paced environments where standing, walking, and having on-the-production floor conversations are common as a supply chain leader. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for engaging, leading and developing your team in a warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and managing your team to meet goals. Amazon provides extensive training and development to become an exceptional people leader. Key job responsibilities

• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026. (You must have all degree requirements met before your first day).

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsCurrently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.
