Job summary

Creative Environment’s in Tempe is seeking an Area Manager to lead Construction Managers across multiple projects. You will guide teams, collaborate with Designers and CE management to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing multiple projects, coordinating with managers and subcontractors, conducting site visits, enforcing quality control, managing payments and budgets, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in construction project management or related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and stakeholders.

Job Details: Job Location: Corporate office - Tempe, AZ 85284, Position Type: Full Time, As an Area Manager in the construction industry, you will play a pivotal role in leading and guiding Construction Managers with multiple construction projects within your designated area. Your exemplary leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and ability to collaborate with Designers and CE management team will ensure the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and adhering to the highest standards of quality control.

• Oversee and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are executed according to the established schedule and within the allocated budget.
• Collaborate with construction managers, community PMs, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication, coordination, and project progression.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to project teams.
• Implement and enforce rigorous quality control procedures to promote excellence in workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate Procore inspection activities, ensuring that all necessary documentation and reports are accurately entered. Daily Logs, Photos, Forms, Checklist
• Conduct milestone walks at the pre-designated schedule which matches agreed upon payment terms, thoroughly examining completed work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and designers’ intent.
• Oversee and manage the accuracy of collections, verifying that each CM and Designer have communicated ensuring that all invoices are submitted promptly, payments are received in a timely manner, and any billing discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Regularly review project budgets and financial reports, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting regular meetings to address any concerns, provide progress updates, and ensure we are performing to the CE standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree construction management, civil engineering, architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management or a related role. This experience should include managing the planning, design, and construction phases of building projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Procore and CRM software.
• Bachelor's degree construction management, civil engineering, architecture or related field, preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management or a related role. This experience should include managing the planning, design, and construction phases of building projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Procore and CRM software.
• Valid Driver's license
• Clean 5 year motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass drug test and adhere to drug testing policy
