WIS International is seeking an Area Manager in Tallahassee, FL to lead inventory events and manage a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with district leadership to ensure high productivity and accuracy while maintaining superior customer service.

The role requires 5+ years in inventory roles, strong leadership, and flexibility for varied hours and travel. This is a full-time salaried position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an Inventory/retail/warehouse role with professionalism and teamwork.
• Strong people and team leadership with track record in recruiting, hiring and developing talent.
• In-event payroll management, expense control, and driving productivity to increase production.
• Ability to work varied, non-traditional hours including early morning or late night shifts.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
• Motor Vehicle Record check and QVD eligibility if driving is required.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license where needed.

The position is directly responsible for successfully planning, organizing, coordinating and leading a team of inventory professionals during inventory events. The Area Manager is a key driver of our customer service through satisfying Productivity, Accuracy, Length of Inventory measurements and upholding strong professional standards and exceptional customer service.

Position Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent of experience and education

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an Inventory role, retail or warehouse position, that exhibits professionalism, sense of urgency, soft skills, and the strong ability to work with others
• Strong people and team leadership skills with a proven track record of recruiting, hiring, training and developing talent for future bench strength
• Assures solid in-event financial results through proper payroll management, expense control and a focus on growing employee performance to increase production

• Ability to work varied, non-traditional hours, including early morning or late night shifts, as well as flexible schedules.

• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check (investigative consumer report) and drug screening
• Must be able to successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and meet Company Qualified Van Driver (QVD) eligibility requirements where driving is an essential function of the role
• Where applicable, must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Company fleet driver requirements to support District or Regional business needs

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent travel via automobile and air and the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts regularly.
