Steak n Shake Marketplace Blvd Lansing is seeking an experienced Restaurant Area Manager to drive operational excellence across multiple locations. You will lead GMs, grow sales, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Strong multi-unit leadership and food safety are required, along with coaching and development of teams. This role involves traveling between stores and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent leadership experience.
• Multi-unit restaurant management experience required.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, sanitation, labor management, and financial controls.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to hospitality, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between restaurant locations.

As aRestaurant Area Manager, you drive operational excellence, people development, and financial performance across multiple restaurant locations. Prior multi-unit leadership is a must. This role partners closely with General Managers to grow sales and profitability, strengthen leadership capability, improve guest satisfaction, and maintain exceptional brand standards across the district.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work more than 50 hours per week as business needs require

• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
