Job summary

Niemann Foods is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor to act as a physical deterrent and protect store assets, customers, and associates. You will monitor operations using store security systems, respond to emergencies, and assist with investigations.

You will supervise Loss Prevention staff across stores, train new associates, and ensure compliance with policies. The role requires high school diploma or GED, experience in criminal justice or security, and strong communication and reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1 year related experience.
• College/technical education in criminal justice or law enforcement is preferred.
• Minimum 3–6 months related work experience or training or past military security training are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Look for and investigate potential internal associate theft situations.
• Investigate internal store issues as requested.
• Respond to emergencies or disturbances threatening store, customers, or associates.
• Apprehend shoplifters.
• Complete detailed reports.
• Observe customer and associate actions.
• Provide a safe and customer-friendly store environment.
• Communicate with law enforcement as needed.
• Update Store Management and Asset Protection Manager on security concerns.
