Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking an Area Leader Trainee for Retail Sales to oversee 12-14 store locations in a fast-paced environment. You will train employees to deliver exceptional customer service and implement merchandising programs while managing store operations and budget considerations.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders, with a focus on profit and loss management and achieving performance goals. A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail, or a large single store with 100+ employees.
• Experience in staffing, training, merchandising, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 12-14 store locations and supervise Store Leaders.
• Implement merchandising programs, control cash and inventory, and drive customer service.
• Manage profit and loss, budget planning, and expense control.
• Set performance goals and monitor results with upper management.
• Possess a 4-year degree or substantial multi-store management experience; hold a valid state Driver's License.

What you bring:

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, motivating and teambuilding, and promoting excellent customer service
• A focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management
• A 4‑year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
• The ability to multi‑task, being self‑motivated, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

If you enjoy working as a multi‑unit operations manager, then this is the position for you. Having previous multi‑unit management experience is preferred.
