This is an in-office position and will require travel to multiple locations.

We're looking for an ideal candidate who possesses strong HR skills, has successfully led onboarding and offboarding initiatives, has experience in employee relations, takes initiative, has helped establish effective processes and procedures, and can expertly balance multiple workflows. Experience within the states of OH and KY is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage new hire orientation and welcome events with enthusiasm! You’ll oversee the onboarding process at assigned brands for new hires, ensuring they are set up in ADP. Distribute and collect new hire paperwork (electronically and physically) on the day of hire, ensuring everything is properly saved and filed.
  • Provide basic HR support directly to employees at assigned brands. Be the go-to person for answering employment-related questions on topics such as utilizing benefits, timecards, HR policies, and more! Monitor the HR inbox, separate inquiries, and respond to basic questions. For any escalated HR questions or Manager-specific inquiries, you'll forward them appropriately. Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications with confidence.
  • Facilitate the offboarding process for terminated employees smoothly. Notify payroll for the creation of a final check, ensure all paperwork is executed, collect and return materials, and send notifications to the appropriate parties to complete the employee's exit.
  • Create, process, and update Payroll Change Notices and updates to the ADP Workforce Now HRIS system. Communicate HRIS changes to payroll and create basic ad hoc reports and people reports for site-level leaders on demand.

Collect required claim-related information, respond to data and record requests, monitor claim statuses, and communicate updates to Management. Report on workers' compensation and auto claims with precision.
  • Provide LOA information and brochures to employees, ensuring they have access to the Leave Center. Communicate leave requests and questions through to the HR Business Partners and/or Leave Center as needed.
  • Ensure compliance updates and changes (via poster, policy, etc.) are posted and communicated to all supported staff, keeping everyone informed.
