Job summary

Sodexo Group in the United States seeks an Area General Manager for the Northeast Region who will oversee a multi-site hospitality operation serving a government client.

You will lead a management team of 11 Deli/Bakery Managers across PA, NY, NJ, MA, CT, RI and ME, drive service excellence, financial performance, and continuous improvement.

This role reports to the District Manager and offers an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

The Area General Manager will report directly to the District Manager and directly overseea management team of 11 Deli/Bakery Managers in PA, NY, NJ, MA, CT, RI and ME.

Step into a dynamic leadership role where you’ll oversee multiple service lines, drive operational excellence, and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional client and guest experiences. You’ll serve as the strategic point of contact for our clients, ensuring all service standards are met while championing team development, financial performance, and continuous improvement.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $120190 - $155540

Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary
