Job summary

The Building People, LLC in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a full-time Area Facilities Operations Specialist to help manage environmental base operations and sustainment programs ensuring buildings meet standards.

The role involves conducting weekly inspections, identifying deficiencies, coordinating with stakeholders on repairs, and ensuring life safety, security, and energy practices are in compliance while maintaining documentation and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of related experience or training.
  • Detailed knowledge of building electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, interiors, and roofing systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly facility inspections and checklists.
  • Identify and report deficiencies; recommend repairs.
  • Assist design reviews for major/minor construction projects.
  • Coordinate safety inspections and environmental compliance.
  • Input Work Orders into CSS and MAXIMO; track status.
