Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality client experience and strong operational execution. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align staffing and facilities, and drive revenue and performance across the portfolio.

As a visible, hands‑on leader, you’ll set expectations, monitor metrics, and develop bench strength while ensuring readiness for seasonal demand and complex client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit settings with outcomes accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset delivering consultative experience.
• Proven coaching ability and accountability across teams.
• Experience driving business and financial results in multi-location ops.
• Experience with change management and new processes adoption.
• Ability to prioritize across locations and exercise independent judgment.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handles escalations.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights to action.
• Willingness to travel frequently; valid for days between offices.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals; coach for performance.
• Provide coaching based on behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office and workforce readiness, facilities, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
