Area Director

The Area Director role focuses on spearheading a team of professionals to surpass sales targets through innovative approaches across all distribution channels. This position is pivotal in expanding market reach by establishing INN status in key regions and nurturing a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to enhance payer relations and retention. Additionally, the role demands the crafting of competitive compensation and training schemes, fostering manager development, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and compliance standards, all while managing resources efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the development of sales and profit utilizing the tools and reports available for all stores with a particular focus on high volume and underperforming stores
  • Ensure all stores have an appropriate store organization based on staffing guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all daily functions and best practices
  • Monitor customer service to ensure the quality of service is commensurate with company standards
  • Visit each store consistently, however the duration of the visit is to be based on store needs and performance
  • Ensure the protection of company assets
  • Provide consistent direction, leadership, accountability, and training to Team Leaders
  • Support the development of all Team Leaders and Customer Service Associates
  • Monitor interviewing and selection as well as training programs
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with personnel at all levels
  • Communicate urgently all allegations of inappropriate behavior or harassment to the Area Director
  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead a team of field representatives and managers in attaining company goals in the area of assigned responsibility
  • Establish sales strategies to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals across all 4 distribution channels (call points)
  • Open up the full potential of all territories by securing INN status with key payers in underserved areas
  • Develop a network of KOLs that will further payer goals and ensure the retention of the business in the area assigned
  • Assist with developing and ongoing review of sales team compensation and training programs
  • Assist with the development of other managers where directed and the overall team
  • Manage expenses within budget and admin items in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with the team to establish clear, challenging performance goals and metrics for the year
  • Develop a business strategy for the responsible area to attain annual business objectives and increase market share
  • Work with DSMs to set business targets, build business plans and strategies, analyze data, drive marketing missions and initiatives, assign business territories
  • Manage business teams in designated geographical areas.
  • Responsible for the leading, coaching, and growth of direct reports
  • Follow BI Compliance and EHS requirements
  • Develop and manage Key Account assignments, including but not limited to doctors, hospitals, and other key market segments
  • Implement and interpret service and operations policies for all new contracts
  • Forecast budgets related to business needs
  • Monitor growth and market share of local offices to ensure growth
  • Ensure future profitability through performance reviews and routine discussions on branch goals and plans
  • Oversee recruitment, screening, selection, and training of all branch managers
  • Motivate, supervise, delegate duties, and establish proper accountability for branch management staff
  • Conduct disciplinary action for employees
  • Prepare and submit reports to the State Director
  • Maintain liaison with local contracting entity regarding contract services and operations
  • Assist managers in preparing and reviewing monthly billing reports for branch locations
  • Conduct internal branch audits
  • Arbitrate grievances reported by field/staff personnel and clients
  • Assist the State Director in developing branch structures that will create profit
  • Develop competitive pay scales
  • Monitor and develop procedures that will streamline office operations
  • Collect, analyze, and manage the sales performance of territory
  • Day-to-day management of Local Property Partners and Local Property Agents/Senior Property Partners
  • Review and oversee the quality of Local Property Partners valuation reports
  • Review the quality of property adverts created by the Regional Sales Marketing team
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding of Local Property Partners and Local Property Agents/Senior Property Partners
  • Coach and support the professional development of Local Property Partners and Local Property Agents/Senior Property Partners
  • Coach and support the professional development of the team
  • Develop and maintain culture and high level of service (aligning to PB culture)
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all business matters
  • Be flexible and open-minded, trying new things
  • Uphold a sense of urgency and follow-through daily
