This position is a key role within the organization, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a specific area or department while also assuming line lead responsibilities. The individual in this position will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of employees, ensuring the smooth operation of the area's functions and maintaining high productivity levels. The Area Coordinator will collaborate with other departments, manage resources, and drive process improvements to achieve operational goals and deliver exceptional results. Responsible for materials receiving, storage, transfer, inventory accuracy, general housekeeping, and sanitation at one or more 10,000 square foot storage sites. Primary duties include receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials, supplying materials and products to production areas, and verifying the accuracy of receipts, transfers, and stored materials. This position works closely with the shift supervisor and systems specialist to identify and resolve problems regarding the timely movement of materials in storage and the fulfillment of customer orders.
