Job summary

ASRC Federal Cyber seeks an Information Quality Control/Safety specialist in Delta Junction, Alaska. You will conduct recurring safety inspections at GFORCE sites to identify hazards and evaluate written instructions, supporting our safety program in remote arctic environments.

The role requires two years of related work experience, a US driver's license, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance; OHST certification within the first year is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related work experience required.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government-issued security clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Must speak and write in English to conduct business with government and industry.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• OHST certification within first year (current certification preferred).
• Experience in quality control, safety, and hazardous materials handling.
• Experience developing and delivering occupational health and safety instruction.
• Experience inspecting facilities and workers performing tasks.
• Identify and mitigate hazards in remote arctic environments.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills; can work in team or individually.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recurring safety inspections at GFORCE sites to identify hazards and evaluate written instructions.
• Identify, develop and mitigate job site hazards in remote arctic environments.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and support safety program improvements.
• Assist in developing occupational health and safety training and materials.
• Inspect facilities and personnel performing tasks to ensure compliance.
