Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Operations and Training Manager to oversee day-to-day MTC operations at Fort Wainwright, AK.

You will excel in Brigade+ level operational planning, exercise development, and coordinating training resources with the MTC Government Operations POC. As SME, you will apply current Army doctrine and MDMP principles, lead staff meetings, briefings, and event execution using Mission Command Systems and TADSS, while mentoring junior professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience with Military training and training support operations.
• Five years of operations and training management experience at Brigade level and above.
• Three years’ experience, within the last 10 years, with military simulations.
• Robust understanding of the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) and MTC Operations
• Security Clearance: SECRET clearance required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and training at Fort Wainwright's MTC.
• Plan and coordinate training events, resources, and staff.
• Lead or participate in exercise development and briefings.
• Apply Mission Command Systems and TADSS in training delivery.
• Mentor junior professionals and contractors.
• Perform other duties as required.
