Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Arctic Construction Foreman to lead a crew in Summit Station, Greenland. You will construct and maintain buildings, read blueprints, and supervise a team of skilled trades in a remote, challenging environment.

This role requires 6+ years of carpentry, 2+ years in a lead position, and the ability to work in extreme cold. Deployment typically runs April through September with 54-hour weeks.

Competenze

• 6+ years of carpentry experience including design, rough framing and finish carpentry.
• 2+ years as a foreman, lead, or supervisor in carpentry.
• Experience leading a diverse skilled trades team and reading blueprints.

Mansioni

• Construct and maintain buildings at a remote field station.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of skilled trades craftsmen.
• Read blueprints, plan projects, and perform material take-offs.
• Track inventory and create redlines/as-builts as needed.

Conoscenze

Carpentry experience (6+ years)

Carpentry foreman/lead (2+ years)

Experience leading diverse skilled-tra

Ability to work in extreme temps

Willingness to drive polar vehicles

Valid passport and driver's license
