Job summary

Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Field Coordinator - Cargo Operations to support logistics in Greenland.

The role focuses on receiving and reconciling cargo, labeling pallets, and coordinating with local communities to ensure timely delivery of supplies for Arctic science missions. You will handle ice core shipments, track gear, and assist with field deployments while building cross-functional team relationships in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in administration, customer service, or data management.
• Intermediate computer skills are required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, reconcile, and deliver incoming cargo and supplies.
• Weigh, label, and prepare pallets for transport.
• Track and allocate program gear, including cold-weather clothing.
• Support cargo handling for research materials, including ice core shipments.
• Build positive relationships with the local community to coordinate services and procure supplies.
• Provide general support to operations, including passenger transport and field deployments when needed.
• Cross-train with teammates to assist with rotating responsibilities.
