Job summary

A technology solutions firm is seeking an ArcSight Consultant in West Pittsburg, PA. You will be responsible for supporting the SIEM implementation and acting as the chief administrator for the ArcSight environment. The ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of experience with ArcSight administration and a Bachelor's in Computer Science. This role is not for monitoring experience only, but requires substantive operational knowledge of SIEM platforms.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience with ArcSight Components administration is required.
• Experience in asset import and modeling.
• Knowledge of current security threats and response strategies.

Overview

The ArcSight Consultant is responsible for supporting the ArcSight SIEM implementation, operationally, and for making modifications that will mature its use.

Location: Pittsburg, PA

Responsibilities

• Act as the chief administrator and SME for the ArcSight environment.


• Maintain the SIEM components (Connector, Logger, ESM, DB).


• Advanced content development


• Develop flex connectors


• Asset modeling

Qualifications

• Work history demonstrating 2 to 4 years’ experience with: Administration of ArcSight Components (ESM, DB, Logger, Connector Appliance (Con. App.) is an absolute requirement.


• Asset import and asset modeling


• Parser development


• Extensive knowledge of current and latest security threats and knowledge on how to respond to those threats using the existing SIEM platform.


• This is not an ArcSight monitoring role, individuals with only monitoring experience will not be considered.

Desired Education

Bachelor in Computer Science, Masters preferred
