Job summary

STV is seeking an Architecture Intern to join our team in a hybrid office role. The internship targets undergraduate and graduate students, with a minimum 3 days per week in the office and a preference for a minimum 3-month duration.

You will assist in early design phases, prepare architectural plans under supervision, and support cross-disciplinary collaboration on diverse projects. Preference for candidates with RevIt, CAD, and LEED exposure, and industry experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Experience with Rhino, 3-D Max, SketchUp and LEED accreditation is a plus.
• Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the initial design phase and contribute to detailed architectural design work for projects in collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants.
• Support the preparation of architectural plans under the supervision of senior architects.
• Assist in the analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.
• Participate in site and construction inspections to gather information and assist in preparing interpretive reports.
• Aid in executing code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.
• Contribute to analyzing design and construction systems, design layouts, and construction features by researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to support project integration and cohesion.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing project work under supervision.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and team objectives.

This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months.

Compensation Range:

$54,810.00 - $62,284.00
