Job summary

GFT is seeking an Architecture Intern in Philadelphia to join a high-functioning design team. You will assist from the initial survey through construction, guided by experienced engineers and professionals with the goal of converting many interns to full-time hires.

You will contribute to design concepts, participate in client presentations, and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure technical accuracy and timely progress.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software like Enscape or Lumion.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail in design tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on client requirements and architectural standards.
• Assist in developing projects from initial survey to construction phases.
• Contribute to design concepts and presentations.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines on technical details.
• Review shop drawings and monitor construction progress.
