Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a student intern to support architectural design and documentation under supervision. You will assist drafting, 3D modeling, and visualization tasks using BIM tools while learning DPR's standards and processes.

The role includes contributing to design development and project documentation, and participating in coordination meetings. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a NAAB-accredited architecture program with 0–5 years of experience, eager to learn, and able to work on-site

Qualifications

  • 0–5 years of architectural design or documentation experience.
  • Ability to work under supervision and learn DPR standards.

Job Summary:

Supports architectural design and documentation under supervision by contributing to the preparation of drawings, models, and technical details. Develops foundational knowledge of design principles, construction materials, and building systems. Participates in design coordination and assists in maintaining project files and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with drafting, modeling, and visualization tasks using BIM and related software.
  • Supports design development and construction documentation efforts.
  • Conducts research on materials, codes, and product data as directed.
  • Assists in preparing presentation materials and design deliverables.
  • Participates in project coordination meetings and records design decisions.
  • Maintains organized documentation and version control for project files.
  • Learns and applies DPR's architectural design and detailing standards, and has functional knowledge of DPR's self-perform and prefabrication design library.
Education Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture program at a National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) accredited institution required.

Work Experience:

0-5 years of experience in architectural design or documentation required.

Certifications and Licenses:

None required.

Anticipated starting pay range:

$29.00- $46.00
