OceanWave Maritime in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to create detailed technical drawings and plans for building design projects. You will work closely with architects and engineers to ensure designs are functional, safe and code-compliant.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit. Visa sponsorship is covered for international candidates; accommodation isn’t provided.

We are hiring an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Las Vegas As an Architectural Technologist you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for building design projects You will work closely with architects and engineers to ensure that the designs are functional safe and compliant with building codes

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design CAD software
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts and solutions
• Ensure that all designs meet building codes regulations and safety standards
• Conduct site visits to gather information for design development
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients contractors or other stakeholders
• Utilize knowledge of construction materials methods and techniques to create feasible designs
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to architectural design

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Knowledge of building codes regulations and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Salary

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month

Location

The job is located in Las Vegas

While English language skills are not required for this position it is preferred
