Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an architect for hands-on design development, drafting, and project coordination in a collaborative office setting. The role emphasizes integration of engineering elements, client reviews, and production of contract documents using CAD tools.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Architecture with 2–5 years of experience, strong Revit skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to contribute to design reviews and on-site observation when needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 2–5 years of experience.
• Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred and producing architectural drawings is required.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, design software and e-mail.
• Physically present in Gray office.
• Energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented with a passion for collaboration and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities.
• Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval.
• Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.
• May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.
• May periodically assist design managers in conducting on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Prepares studies and reports.
• Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment.
