Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks an Architectural Staff (Level 1) in Seattle, WA to support consumer experiences projects. You will assist with design development, documentation, and coordination across teams on fast-paced retail, food & beverage, and luxury environments.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project design, documentation, and delivery standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with production of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications.
  • Coordinate projects to MG2 and client production standards.
  • Provide admin support: meeting agendas/minutes, project trackers, permit checklists, RFIs/submittals logs, project reports.
  • Conduct code research and feasibility studies with AHJ representatives.
  • Participate in construction administration deliverables, site visits, field reports, RFIs/submittals, and OAC meetings.
  • Produce accurate work aligned with weekly workplans and budget understanding.

Overview

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is looking for a motivated Architectural Staff (Level 1) to join our Consumer Experiences Market team in Seattle, WA!

Join our Consumer Experiences (CX) Market, where you'll help create innovative retail, food & beverage, and luxury environments that connect brands with customers in meaningful ways. In this role, you'll contribute to dynamic, fast-paced projects that respond to emerging trends, evolving lifestyles, and changing consumer expectations, helping bring memorable experiences to life.

You'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise in architectural design, technical documentation, and project coordination while contributing to increasingly complex projects. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the production of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications.
  • Primary focus is on project coordination, detailing, and adherence to MG2 and/or client specific production standards.
  • Provide administrative support for project teams, including creating meeting agendas and minutes, updating project trackers, completing permit applications or checklists, maintaining RFI and submittal logs, and generating various types of project reports.
  • Assist with code research and feasibility studies including coordinating directly with AHJ representatives.
  • Actively participate in the production and coordination of deliverables during construction administration. This may include conducting site visits, generating field reports, reviewing RFIs and submittals, and active participation in OAC meetings.
  • Produce accurate and timely work in accordance with weekly workplans and direction given. Work should demonstrate understanding of design intent and comprehension of project budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project design, documentation, and delivery standards.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Some experience with design and visualization tools including Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and Enscape.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $67,000 to $78,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
