Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking installers to handle the installation of commercial overhead doors. You will follow field supervisor instructions and work with others to complete installations, including more technically demanding products, while adhering to warranties and manufacturer guidelines.

The role requires using measuring tools, ladders and lifts, maintaining equipment, and training entry level technicians.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some installation experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be 21 to drive a company vehicle.
Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Follows instructions from field supervisor regarding installation of overhead doors.
Works independently and with other installers to install products as assigned and trained.
Responsible for installation of more technically advanced or demanding architectural grade products.
Follows manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products.
Tracks time and materials for each installation project.
Maintains equipment in good working order and reports malfunctions to field supervisor.
Trains entry level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods.
Provides quality customer service.
