Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is hiring in Colorado Springs for a metal roofing installer. The role involves installing architectural cladding, steel roofing, wall finishes, and custom metal panels. You will read blueprints, rivet, weld, solder, and fit sheet metal parts per project specs and codes.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of commercial roofing experience, can work at heights, and communicates well with team members while adhering to strict safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years’ commercial metal roofing experience required.
• Experience with various architectural metal wall panel systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Analyze information and evaluate problems.
• Ability to safely work at heights.
• Ability to learn and follow our extensive company safety policy.
• Work safely with all crew on installation of architectural sheet metal applications.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Architectural Cladding applications, including Steel Roofing and Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall panels and Custom Zinc or Copper applications.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment.
• Install exterior metal products according to specifications and building codes.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products.
