Qualifications

• Previous professional welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Proficiency grinding, sanding, and finishing metal surfaces.
• Mechanical aptitude with fabrication equipment.
• Strong math, measuring, and layout skills for precision assembly.
• Ability to read detailed shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble custom aluminum and steel frames for awnings, canopies, and pergolas.
• Grind, sand, and finish metal surfaces to premium production standards.
• Interpret basic shop drawings and fabrication specifications to maintain high-quality accuracy.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and grinders safely and efficiently within the fabrication workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline material handling and optimize production workflows.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment to prevent hazards and improve efficiency.
