Cuhaci & Peterson in Orlando is seeking a Technical Manager responsible for overseeing architectural projects, including design and construction documentation. This role involves managing client relations, ensuring quality control throughout project execution, and coordinating various project aspects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of building construction methods and applicable codes. They will serve as the key contact for clients and mentor junior staff members, ensuring the success of projects delivered on time and to the required standards.
Description
A Technical Manager is responsible for implementing architectural/engineering project(s), including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding and Construction Administration. Included are coordination with and responsibility for communicating with other disciplines.
This position requires a thorough understanding of building construction methods and techniques as well as the applicable codes. Final responsibility for the technical quality of a project lies with the Technical Manager.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, handle stressful situations and multitasking, work under time constraints, long hours may be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to handle stressful situations, multitasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets. Will work in a normal office environment and may also be required to work outside of a normal office from time to time.
