Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in architectural, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering by the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more energy/Power Systems areas as listed in the job description.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively and work well with others as demonstrated through application materials and interview.
• Demonstrated potential to develop externally-funded research programs and to design and teach high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in architectural engineering.
• Develop and conduct an innovative research program in building electrical power systems or related energy areas.
• Perform service activities commensurate with rank, including department, school, and university committees.
