Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a skilled installation technician to set up architectural grade doors, frames, and hardware across Division 8/10 projects. You will work with supervisors and teams to ensure precise installations and compliance with manufacturer guidance.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and some experience with doors and hardware. You will train on new materials, track time, and maintain tools while delivering quality customer service on job sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Some installation experience with doors, frames, and hardware products, or Division 10 products.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions from field supervisor regarding installation of doors, frames, and hardware.
• Works independently and with other installers to install Division 8/10 products as assigned and trained.
• Responsible for installation of more technically advanced or demanding architectural grade products.
• Follows manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products.
• Tracks time and materials as required for each installation project.
• Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor.
• Train entry level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Provides quality customer service.
• Attends all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management.
• Other relative duties as assigned.
