Job summary

Woolpert is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Mission Critical practice within the Buildings Team for our Chicago, IL and New York, NY offices and offer a hybrid work schedule.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship; applicants must have work authorization in the country where the job is located. Bachelor’s in Architecture and 1-2+ years of related experience are required, LEED preferred, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 1-2+ years related experience.
• Able to read and interpret general business documents and regulations.
• LEED accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Architect in preparation of construction documents using CAD tools.
• Contributes to design drawings, specifications, reports, and materials boards.
• Coordinate design information with internal disciplines and external consultants.
• Participate in construction-phase activities and site observations.
• Communicate clearly with project team and external stakeholders.
• Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives.
