Job summary

Woolpert is seeking an Architectural Designer to join the Mission Critical/Buildings Team across multiple offices with a hybrid work schedule. The role requires collaboration with leaders and clients on complex projects while advancing design, documentation, and performance-driven approaches.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Architecture, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency with Revit, MS Office, and the Adobe suite, plus strong communication and modeling skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture and at least 6 years of related architectural experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Architecture is preferred.
  • Strong design, execution, and problem-solving skills; experience on complex projects.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong digital modeling, organization, and verbal/written communication skills.

Position Overview

We are seeking to hire an Architectural Designer to join our Mission Critical practice within our Buildings Team for our Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Charlotte, NC and/or Miami, FL offices and offer a hybrid work schedule.

What You Will Do
  • Contribute to the overall design and execution of projects, from concept through completion.
  • Work directly with our firm leaders and with our clients at some of the world’s largest technology companies on complex, challenging projects.
  • Apply a blend of collaborative thinking, creativity, and technical proficiency to ensure that our clients’ ambitious multidisciplinary projects are realized to the highest standards.
What You Will Bring
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and a minimum of 6 years related architectural experience.
  • A Master’s Degree in Architecture is preferred.
  • Strong design, execution, and problem‑solving skills. Experience on complex projects a strong asset.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects.
  • Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit for project development and documentation. Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) as well as the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Strong digital modeling skills and well‑developed organization as well as strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range

$75,400 - $94,300 USD
