Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson® Architects, Engineers & Planners in Orlando, FL is seeking an Architectural Designer to contribute to design and production of construction documents on limited scope projects under supervision. You will perform basic design and coordinate documents following standard architectural practices and codes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) with 1–4 years of experience, and knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp, plus strong communication

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of construction documents and specifications.

  • Complete designated scope of work within allotted time budget.
  • Assist with permitting process, including response to comments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for bidding procedures and construction administration.
  • Participates in site visits.

Capable of basic design, setting up and coordination of the documents, based on standard architectural practices and applicable codes.

Requirements

An Architectural Designer shall have a bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and experience from 1 to 4 years in an architectural firm/field. This position requires general knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketch Up. A basic understanding of architecture, building construction, and building codes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
