Job summary

Perkins Eastman, a global design firm, seeks a creative Architectural Designer to develop architectural drawings, layouts, and visual presentations. You will own key design tasks, collaborate with senior staff, and contribute to client presentations across projects of moderate size and complexity.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and growing through design reviews and design development in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication, graphics, organization, technical and written skills.
• Proficiency with Revit, Affinity Suite, 3D Max, SketchUp, Lumion, InDesign; Rhino and Enscape are a plus.
• Licensed professional or on path to licensure; LEED accreditation within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop bold architectural concepts and translate them into drawings, models, and presentations.
• Create schematic proposals, layouts, and 3D design models in Revit or other digital tools for client review.
• Explore and test design solutions through hand sketches and iterative modeling.
• Assist in producing construction drawings and detailing.
• Contribute to construction administration by reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Develop material boards, physical models, and immersive graphic presentations.
• Support projects across all phases from concept to construction documents.
