Job summary

The S/L/A/M Collaborative is seeking a Design Professional for our offices in Glastonbury, CT and Providence, RI. You will work closely with project teams on varied projects, taking direction, working independently, and meeting deadlines.

The Design Professional performs routine architectural assignments under supervision, produces drawings and renderings, compiles data, and supports the design efforts of others. A BArch or MArch degree is preferred; licensure not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
• Exhibit proficiency in Revit.
• Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work independently and as part of an effective team.
• Ability to work independently with proficient organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal team members and project team leaders.
• Develop and express concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlines.
• Attend client meetings in-house and at client sites.
• Support the needs of both internal and external clients.
• Maintain positive communications with colleagues and clients.
• May consult manufacturers and evaluate materials.
• May write architectural specifications.
