Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a talented Architectural Designer to join our team.

You will collaborate with the Design Manager and Project Director, translating concepts into practical, visually compelling, and technically sound architectural solutions throughout design and documentation. Candidates should have 2–5 years of experience, a degree in architecture, and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of architectural design experience (internships included).
• Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials.
• Produce accurate architectural drawings and 3D/BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or comparable software.
• Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and models with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Assist with material, finish, fixture, and equipment selections.
• Incorporate client and project leadership feedback; participate in design reviews and coordination meetings.
