Stella Contracting, Inc is seeking an Architectural Designer to transform concepts into practical, technically sound architectural solutions in Baltimore. You will collaborate with the Design Manager, Project Director, and multidisciplinary teams through design and documentation phases.

Responsibilities include creating layouts and BIM models in Revit/AutoCAD, assisting with schematic design, and coordinating drawings with structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related discipline preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant architectural design experience (internships included).
• Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience developing architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong visual, creative, technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, residential, or other complex building projects is a plus.

• Produce accurate architectural drawings and 3D/BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or comparable software.
• Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and models with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Assist with material, finish, fixture, and equipment selections.
• Incorporate feedback from clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and leadership.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
• Assist with preparation of permit and construction documentation.
• Support teams in resolving design and documentation issues.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure drawings are updated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with site visits and field verification when required.
