Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Designer on a contract basis to collaborate with our Principal Architectural Consultant from concept through completion.

You will develop designs, produce detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe suite. The role requires 2+ years of professional experience, a strong portfolio, and the ability to work onsite with flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional architectural design experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design and technical ability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Onsite work with flexible hours.
  • Familiarity with local building codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Principal Architectural Consultant to develop and refine architectural designs.
  • Create drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
  • Assist in conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Conduct site visits, measurements, and evaluations to support project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors as needed.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions throughout all phases of the design process.
  • Participate in project meetings, contribute ideas, and integrate feedback.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Stay updated on design trends, local codes, and sustainable building practices.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join our team on a contract basis.
